Purpose

To consider the Slough Children First (SCF) Annual Report for 2025/26 to the end of March 2026.

Decision

• Noted SCF’s Annual Report for 2025/26.

• Noted the recommendations from Corporate Improvement and Scrutiny Committee in relation to a review of the youth justice plan and that a separate report will be presented on this. 

• Noted that an updated business plan and in-year request for an increased contract sum will be reported to Cabinet in November 2026.

• Delegated authority to the Chief Operating Officer, in consultation with the Leader of the Council, to agree to offer further support services to Slough Children First, including insourcing staff who are fulfilling these functions within Slough Children First.
