Purpose

To approve the Housing Benefit War Pension Disregard Policy (Modified Scheme).

Decision

(a)  That the 100% disregard of war pension income be confirmed for the duration of the policy.

(b)  That delegated authority be given to the Section 151 Officer, following consultation with the Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Corporate Resources, to make minor alterations to the policy, noting any substantive alterations must be approved by Cabinet.
