Children’s Services & Education Scrutiny Board

The Children’s Services & Education Scrutiny Board provides overview and scrutiny of the responsibilities held by the Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Children & Education. It examines performance, improvement, development, and innovation within children's services and education.

When issues overlap with other scrutiny boards, this board collaborates to determine which board will take the lead on an agenda item. Its role is to scrutinise and provide recommendations, rather than making executive decisions.
