About

The CPH Economy, Business & Skills Decision Session is responsible for implementing the council's economic development strategies. This includes overseeing external funding, inward investment, transport policy, digital initiatives, and culture and arts. The committee also handles strategic land and property matters, town centre masterplans, and business liaison activities.

Furthermore, it addresses skills and productivity strategies, post-16 education, community education, and initiatives to tackle youth unemployment and support employment. The committee also liaises with the Combined Authority on skills and employment matters.
