To provide overview & scrutiny of the responsibilities of the Deputy Leader’s Portfolio (Managed Growth) and the Portfolio Holders for Climate Change & Planning, Housing and Economy, Business and Skills The Key projects/activates include: -  

Developing an inclusive economy Delivering accelerated economic growth and inward investment through the Council’s UK Central programme Developing and initial delivery of the Strategic Housing Framework Continued delivery of the Climate Change Prospectus (excluding clean air which sits with the HASCC Board) Transport Policy and Strategy Targeted support to equip people with the skills needed to take advantage of the borough’s economic growth
