About

The Stronger Communities and Neighbourhood Services Scrutiny Board provides overview and scrutiny of the Cabinet Portfolio Holders for Communities and Environment & Infrastructure. It also acts as the Crime & Disorder Committee as required by the Police & Justice Act 2006.

The board examines key projects and activities, including developing integrated community-based approaches for wellbeing, reviewing updates on Safer Solihull initiatives and partnership working, and scrutinising the development of arts, culture, and tourism offers to drive economic growth.

Additionally, it oversees the development of the Solihull on the Move programme, which aims to encourage physical activity across the borough.
