Decision

The Cabinet Member for Environment and Infrastructure RESOLVED to:

(a) Note the recent deputation and residents concern about road safety on Church Hill Road.

(b) Agree that the unique circumstances on Church Hill Road should be considered a “special case” outside of the Council’s bi-annual road safety priority setting process.

(c) Approve the development of a detailed traffic calming scheme, as outlined in the report, subject to the necessary statutory consultation process and business case to seek appropriate funding, and

(d) Agree to receive a further report to review the outcome of this work and to approve the final format of the scheme at a future decision session.
