RESOLVED

The Cabinet Member agreed to:

(i)  Adopt the Food and Safety Team Service Plan 2026/27 attached as Appendix 7.1.

(ii)  Note the statutory responsibilities delivered by the Food and Safety Team on behalf of the Council.

(iii)  Note the performance improvements achieved during 2025/26 and the priorities identified for 2026/27.

(iv)  Note the amendment to paragraph 6.4.1 of the cover report to state ‘The Food and Safety Team operates within the wider Regulatory Services budget. Delivery of regulatory functions is supported by a revenue budget of £465,230 for 2026/27’.
