Decision

Having considered the report, the Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Resources:

RESOLVED:

i.  Not to grant discretionary rate relief to Acorns Children’s Hospice Trust (ACHT) because in the Cabinet Portfolio Holders view the organisation held sufficient reserves;

ii.  Not to grant discretionary rate relief to Miss Macaroon because the rate payable was not eligible for discretionary rate relief because it is a private company; and,

iii.  To agree to award 20% discretionary rate relief for the current financial year 2026/27 only to Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens.
