Purpose

To provide an update to the Cabinet Member on
various aspects of the
Council’s Electric Vehicle Strategy and Delivery Programme
and to present for endorsement preferred options relating to the
review of the Strategy and the delivery of associated
actions.

Decision

To delegate authority for approval of the
tariff from October 2022 to the Assistant Director - Highways &
Environment, in consultation with the Cabinet Portfolio Holder for
Climate Change, Planning and Housing.

Decision completed on 21/09/2023 and was completed by the Assistant
Director for Growth and Development. The tariff set in 2022 was
42p/kWh and the new tariffs set in September 2023 were 49p/kWh
(daytime rate) and 42p/kWh (night time rate).
