Planning and Transport Policy Executive Sub-Committee

The Planning and Transport Policy Sub-Committee is a sub-committee of the Executive, responsible for overseeing and monitoring the review of Development Plan Documents and the Local Transport Plan. It has delegated decision-making powers on behalf of the Executive.

The committee approves stages of Local Plans for consultation, recommends their adoption, and makes Neighbourhood Development Plans. It also approves the Local Development Scheme, Statement of Community Involvement, Supplementary Planning Documents, and the Local Transport Plan. The sub-committee considers policy options, draft policies, and housing delivery plans, and agrees infrastructure priorities and spending for the Community Infrastructure Levy.
