Purpose

Delegation to the Executive
Director for Climate and Place to commit spend up to £9.6m
and to reallocate funding as necessary between the mitigation
projects. This is to ensure the entirety of the funding is
committed by the end of this financial year.
 

Content

Following
consideration of the officer report, appendices and discussion, the
Executive resolved to:
 

a)   
Delegate authority to the Executive Director Community, Place
and Economy, in consultation with the Chief Finance Officer, to
commit spend up to £9.6m from the Local Nutrient Mitigation
Capital Funding to deliver nutrient mitigation schemes in line with
grant conditions in the financial year 2024/25.

b)   
Delegate authority to the Executive Director Community, Place
and Economy, in consultation with the Chief Finance Officer, to
reallocate funding as necessary between the projects listed in
Table 2 to ensure that the entirety of the £9.6m funding is
committed by 31st March 2025, as required by
MHCLG.
