Having been duly proposed and seconded, the
Executive Resolved to:-

a)   
Approve the implementation of the new approach to Pupil Referral
Unit provision in Somerset, with the aim of improving the quality
and consistency of the offer across the county and to do so;

b)   
Approve the expansion of Tor School to include the sites from which
South Somerset Partnership School (SSPS) operate w.e.f. 1 April
2026, and the closure of SSPS with effect from 31 March 2026 to
enable consolidation;

c)   
Approve the expansion of The Bridge School to include the sites
from which Taunton Deane Partnership College (TDPC) operate w.e.f.
1 April 2026, and the closure of TDPC from 31 March 2026 to enable
the proposed consolidation;

d)   
Approve the production of a Partnership Agreement which would
define and deliver the support and challenge mechanisms required to
secure the necessary improvements.
