The Scrutiny Children and Families Committee
RESOLVED to convey to the Executive that, in their opinion the
papers presented to scrutiny offered a significant lack of detail
within the report, as such, it was unable to formulate adequate
recommendations regarding the Budget Proposals for 2026/27 to
2030/31 and the Fees and Charges Policy, as referenced in the
Executive’s recommendations (a) to (f) contained within the
document.
Furthermore, the Committee wanted to reiterate
its concern around the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) and
specifically the Deficit Management Plan (DMP) reminding the
executive of the recommendation made previously, specifically the
need to establish a member led programme management board, which
has yet to be actioned.
