Decision

Councillor Liz Leyshon proposed the recommendations, which were seconded by Councillor Dawn Denton.

Having been duly proposed and seconded, the Council Resolved to:-

·       Approve the appointment of Elizabeth (Lizzie) Watkin (see Appendix B) to the post of Chief Finance (Section 151) Officer with effect from 31 July 2026, following the endorsement of the Senior Manager Appointments and Employment Committee; and

·       Delegate authority to the Chief Executive to agree the final contractual arrangements in line with the approved terms and conditions for the role.
