The Scrutiny Committee Adults, Health and Housing considered the report and RESOLVED to:

Note the achievements, challenges and priorities set out in the report in both Adults services and Housing, which included the Care Quality Commission’s overall rating of Requires Improvement for Adult Social Care, the areas identified for improvement, and the actions being taken through the developing improvement plan to strengthen consistency, timeliness, support for unpaid carers, use of data and outcomes for people and the progress made in the implementation of the Homelessness Reduction Strategy and action plan.

In addition, the Committee requested that future annual reports include comparative benchmarking information where available.
