Decision

The Committee noted that the request for a review of M5 Incident Management and Response Times had now been fulfilled through the attendance of National Highways, Avon and Somerset Police and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and therefore agreed that the item should be marked as completed within the Outcome Tracker.

The Committee further noted that a number of planned agenda items had been deferred due to the length of discussions on substantive items.

The Committee therefore RESOLVED:

1. To request that consideration be given to the scheduling of an additional meeting of the Committee to enable deferred items to be considered in a timely manner.
2. To continue development of the Committee's Forward Plan, including consideration of matters relating to bus services, broadband connectivity, mobile phone coverage, recycling centre provision and other previously requested items.
3. To note officer updates regarding outstanding actions and future reporting requirements and to ensure that agreed actions arising from the July meeting are incorporated into the Outcome Tracker for monitoring at future meetings.
