Decision

Having been duly proposed and seconded, the Executive Resolved to:-

1)    Note the outcome of the technical assessment and stakeholder engagement undertaken in response to the Full Council motion of December 2025, including the evidence relating to traffic flow, safety, and town centre vitality.

2)    Maintain the current traffic arrangement with no further changes at this time, on the basis of the evidence presented, until such time as further stakeholder engagement with businesses and residents is completed, after which a final recommendation regarding changes to the scheme could be made to the October meeting of Executive.

3)    Review the status of the Bridgwater Vision.

4)    Note the Town Deal funding must be committed by 31 March 2027.
