The Scrutiny Committee Corporate and Strategic considered the report and reviewed the proposed approach to the Best Value Notice and RESOLVED to:

·         Welcome the progress made in responding to the Best Value Notice across leadership, governance, organisational capability, financial sustainability and service delivery.

·         Support the proposed approach as set out in Table 2 of the report for the ongoing scrutiny of progress in responding to the Best Value Notice.

·         Identify the following areas of focus for its ongoing review: financial sustainability, organisational capability and continuous improvement.
