Decision

RESOLVED that the Constitution and Governance Committee:

1. Noted the consultation undertaken and the comments received from electors, elected members, political parties, and other stakeholders.

1. Approved the polling districts as set out in Appendix A to take effect from 1 December 2026

1. Designated the polling places listed in Appendix A for the polling districts identified in the review.

1. Agreed that authority be delegated to the Chief Executive Officer, in consultation with the Chair of the Committee, to make minor changes to polling places where venues become unavailable or where improved arrangements can be secured.

1. Agreed that the Electoral Registration Officer be authorised to publish the final review documentation, including reasons for decisions taken and revised polling district maps.
