Decision

The Gravity Executive Sub-Committee:

a.    agreed and endorsed the approach to £5.0m of funding to the programme of employability interventions known as Somerset Can’ as the Local Skills Programme required under the conditions of the Grant Offer Letter from the Department for Business and Trade;

b.    delegated authority to the Service Director, Economic Development, Skills & Climate (in consultation with Lead Member for Economic Development, Planning and Assets where appropriate) to consider and approve detailed proposals under the themes presented in this report in line with the Council’s Constitution.
