Purpose

The
purpose of this decision is to agree to a public consultation on
the Council’s four-day week. The Council has been trialling a
four-day week working practice and a consultation is required
before councillors can consider whether, or not, to make the
working model permanent.
 
A
report on the
four-day week consultation process (agenda item
7) was considered by Scrutiny and
Overview Committee on 16 January 2025, and comments from the
committee were noted, prior to the issuing of this
notice.
