Purpose

On 24
April 2025 the Grants Advisory Committee reviewed all Community
Chest applications received between 11 March 2025 and 7 April
2025.
 
Five
applications were brought forward in
‘Appendix A’ of the meeting reports pack.
 
After
consideration of the application, the Committee recommended to the
Lead Cabinet Member for Resources that:
 

1.    
Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust (JKKMFZQT) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £1,900
 

2.    
Eltisley Parish Council (BRSLKHGB) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £635
 

3.    
Sheddit! (JDSKQMJR) be approved and funded at the full amount requested of
£850
 

4.    
Melbourn Fete Committee (WDPBHTJR) is not funded, but deferred-
please see the ‘Other options considered and reasons for
rejection’ section.
 

5.    
Cottenham Village College- part of the Astrea
Academy Trust (TPSCLTSR) be approved and funded at
the full amount requested of £1,996.82.
