Purpose
The
purpose of this decision is to fund The Vine Inter-Church Primary
School in Upper Cambourne in supporting their Garden Club
initiative. The grant will help fund the purchase of a HotBin MK2,
a Green Johanna food waste composter, weed control fabric, and
kitchen caddies for the purpose of creating compost and recycling
food and garden waste sustainably. This will support the growing of
fruits and vegetables such as apples, pears, plums, courgettes,
sweetcorn, and beetroot, with produce shared between the school
kitchen, parents, and the wider community.
