Purpose

To
present Cabinet with the Quarter One (Q1) position
regarding the Council’s organisational performance. This
includes details relating to the Council’s Operational Key
Performance Indicators (OKPIs) and progress against the 2025-26
Corporate Action Plan, including, for the first time, a new
Strategic Indicator Report.

Content

Cabinet has:
 

a)   
Reviewed operational key performance indicator
results and comments at

Appendix A,Strategic
Indicators at Appendix B and progress against Corporate
Action Plan outputs at Appendix C;

b)   
Noted the proposed introduction of ‘KPI04 - %
of current tenant rent arrears’ at Appendix A, in place of
the previous KPI reporting on ‘% housing rent
collected’, as detailed at paragraph 8;

c)    
Reviewed the progress updates at Appendix D
in relation to outputs that were categorised as Amber in the
2024-25 Q4 Business Plan Progress Report, and that were not
included within the 2025-26 Corporate Action Plan;

d)   
Reviewed the Housing Tenant Satisfaction measures at
Appendix E, included within this report for the first time,
as detailed at paragraphs 15-16; and

e)   
Noted the inclusion of prototype dashboard
screenshots at Appendix F, being developed to provide
Members with access to a greater range of service-level performance
information, as agreed at June Cabinet.
