Purpose

On 24
September 2025 the Grants Advisory Committee reviewed all Community
Chest applications received between 7 August 2025 and 8 September
2025.
 
Five
applications were brought forward in
‘Appendix A’ of the meeting reports pack.
 
After
consideration of the application, the Committee recommended to the
Lead Cabinet Member for Resources that:
 

1.    
The Over Day Centre Association (NHNVPGJS) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £1,707.92
 

2.    
Gamlingay Leisure (PHWHTXXR) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £1,332.99
 

3.    
Hardwick Climate Action Group (WNBSHKJG) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £199
 

4.    
Fen Drayton Bowls Club (VTRKKLKC) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £1,920
 

5.    
Ickleton Cricket Club (HLKFPBQK) be approved and funded at the
full amount requested of £2,000.

Reasons for the decision

The
applications were considered in detail by the Grants Advisory
Committee and there is sufficient budget available.

Alternative options considered

To
reject or vary the recommendations of the Grants Advisory Committee
and decide on the level of funding (£0 - £2,000) to be
awarded for each or defer a decision if further information is
required from grant applicants.
