Purpose
The
purpose of this decision is to approve the minor amendments to the
Housing Complaints Self-Assessment (highlighted in red), at
Appendix A, following recommendations received by the Housing
Ombudsman on 18 August 2025.

Self-Assessment was previously approved by Cabinet on 24 June 2025
prior to publication on the Council’s website.

Reasons for the decision
By
making the minor amendments to the self-assessment this
demonstrates that we are making a public commitment to review the
Corporate Complaints Policy by December 2025 to include the
recommendations made by the Housing Ombudsman.

Ombudsman.
