Decision

By 8 votes in favour (Cllrs Anna Bradnam, Vivien Biggs, Martin Cahn, Corinne Garvie, Vince Farrar, Chris Poulton, Peter Sandford, William Scantlebury) and 1 vote against (Cllr Heather Williams), the Committee approved the application subject to:

·       The planning conditions as set out in the officer’s report subject to the amendments to conditions 2,15,17,18, 30, 31, 32 and 33 and the additional condition 35 set out in the Amendment Sheet with minor amendments to the conditions as drafted delegated to officers; and 

·       The satisfactory completion of a Unilateral Undertaking for the provision of the self or custom build properties proposed; and

·       A deadline for completion of the legal agreement by 8 January 2027 (date being 12 weeks later). If the legal agreement is not completed within this period delegated authority is given to officers to refuse the application based on a lack of secured mitigation contrary to the Local Plan 2018.
