About

The Development Management Committee is responsible for making decisions on planning applications and related matters within South Gloucestershire. It determines applications referred to it by the Director or by any Member of the Council, as well as those appearing on the Circulated Schedule. The committee's remit includes granting or refusing planning permission, determining variations to conditions, and dealing with applications for listed building consent and conservation area consent. It also has powers related to enforcement, agreements regulating land use, and the preservation of trees and hedgerows.
