West Devon Overview and Scrutiny Committee

The West Devon Overview and Scrutiny Committee supports the work of the Hub Committee and the wider Council by reviewing policies, budgets, and service delivery. It monitors decisions made by the Hub Committee, with the power to 'call-in' unimplemented decisions for reconsideration if deemed inappropriate. The committee also advises on forthcoming decisions and policy development, and can review existing policies to assess their effectiveness and recommend new ones. Members of the public can participate by raising issues and asking questions at meetings.
