The Cabinet decided to approve recommendations for extending policies and delegating authority for minor amendments. They also adopted the revised Housing Damp Condensation and Mould Policy and delegated minor operational amendments to the Service Director for Housing. The Cabinet also considered and noted the quarterly performance and risk monitoring information.

The Cabinet agreed to extend policies listed in Appendix A to 31st March 2028 and delegated authority to Service Directors, in consultation with the relevant Portfolio Holder and Monitoring Officer, to update these policies for minor or non-material amendments, or consequential amendments due to legislative changes. This delegation is conditional on Policy Development Panel members being informally notified and having the opportunity for scrutiny, and will cease if Local Government Reorganisation does not proceed. The Cabinet also adopted the revised Housing Damp Condensation and Mould Policy 2026-2029 and delegated minor operational amendments and legislative changes to the Service Director for Housing in consultation with the Portfolio Holder. Additionally, the Cabinet considered and noted the quarterly performance for Quarter 4 and risk monitoring information for Quarter 3.

The Policy Development Panel agreed to retire the Derelict & Untidy Sites Policy and replace it with a concise 2–3-page Member and Parish Council Guidance Signpost Document. This document will cover how to identify issues, what information to gather, which service to contact, realistic expectations of timescales, and links to public reporting methods.
