Purpose

The contract for supply of building materials
for Housing Repairs is due for renewal - this report will set out
the preferred options following the tender exercise.

Decision

To award the supply of building
materials contracts for the Housing Repairs Service for a period of
three years plus an option to extend each lot for a further period
of one year.
 
That the Council awards the
following contracts:

Lot 1; General Materials – Jewsons Ltd

Lot 2; Carpentry – Jewsons Ltd

Lot 3; Joinery – Jewsons Ltd
Lot 4; Plumbing –
Wolseley Ltd (Plumb Centre)
