Purpose
To approve the use of £127,500 from the South Oxfordshire District Council’s Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Grant Scheme, as set out in the Council’s 2025/26 capital budget.
- To approve the request from Watlington Club for £127,500 towards the replacement of current timber pavilion with a similar larger, environmentally sustainable timber pavilion with WC and amenity facilities.
- To transfer £127,500 from the provisional capital budget of £750,000 (scheme number P395) to the approved capital programme (scheme number A395).
- To delegate to officers to enter into a funding agreement with Watlington Club that governs the release of CIL funds and sets out project monitoring and claw back clauses.
- To release funds to Watlington Club, in instalments, in accordance with the funding agreement on receipt of the signed and sealed legal agreement.
