Purpose

To approve the use of £127,500 from the South Oxfordshire District Council’s Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Grant Scheme, as set out in the Council’s 2025/26 capital budget.

1. To approve the request from Watlington Club for £127,500 towards the replacement of current timber pavilion with a similar larger, environmentally sustainable timber pavilion with WC and amenity facilities.
2. To transfer £127,500 from the provisional capital budget of £750,000 (scheme number P395) to the approved capital programme (scheme number A395).
3. To delegate to officers to enter into a funding agreement with Watlington Club that governs the release of CIL funds and sets out project monitoring and claw back clauses.
4. To release funds to Watlington Club, in instalments, in accordance with the funding agreement on receipt of the signed and sealed legal agreement.
