Purpose

To approve a new Crisis and Resilience Policy for 2026-29.

To accept funding from Oxfordshire County Council to fund the Crisis and Resilience Policy intentions for 2026-29 (Vale £313,845 and South £247,845).

To delegate authority for the Director of Communities to make amendments to the Crisis and Resilience Policy for 2026-29 in consultation with the relevant Cabinet member.

Decision

·       To approve the Crisis and Resilience Fund Policy (appendix two)

·       To agree to enter into a funding agreement (appendix one) with Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) to accept the Crisis and Resilience fund monies for the period 2026/27 – 2028/29 offered to South Oxfordshire District Council.

·       To utilise the £247,845 (£82,615 per year) CRF funding to deliver the work outlined in the CRF Policy in 2026/27 – 2028/29.

·       To grant delegated authority to the Director of Communities to make amendments to the Crisis and Resilience Fund Policy in consultation with the relevant cabinet member.
