Purpose

To consider the report of the Cabinet Member
for Economic Development seeking approval for the proposed
submission version of the Minerals and Waste Plan, which if
approved will be subject to formal consultation/independent
examination prior to adoption.

Decision

(i) 
To approve the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan: Partial Update
– Proposed Submission Plan (Members Room Document 1);
(ii) 
To delegate authority to the Executive Director Place, following
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Economic Development, to
make changes to the proposed submission plan prior to publication
or submission, and to propose ‘main modifications’
through the examination process for public consultation, provided
these are minor changes, or major changes which do not affect
Southampton.
