Purpose

To undertake a
mini-competition from the South East
Consortium (SEC) Electrical Works framework for a minimum of two
electrical safety call-off contracts for a fixed period of 24
months each from June 2025.

Decision

That the
Cabinet Member for Council Homes
1. 
approves the procurement strategy outlined in this report
to undertake a mini-competition from the South
East Consortium (SEC) Electrical Works framework for a
minimum of two electrical safety call-off contracts for a fixed
period of 24 months each from June 2025 for a combined estimated
total cost of £24.354m.
2. 
notes that as the council is a SEC member, there is no
requirement for the council to sign an Access Agreement.
3. 
notes that the Leader delegated the decision of this
Gateway (GW) 1 to the Cabinet Member for Council Homes via a Notice
of Variation dated 23 October 2024.
