Purpose

Approve the extension of the
Family Fund contract that distributes awards under the Southwark
Emergency Support Scheme.

That the Strategic Director of
Resources

1. 
Approves the variation of the contract for the
Family Fund payment system with Family Fund Trading Ltd for a
period of two years from 4 March 2025 at an estimated cost of
£1,730,000 inclusive of VAT.

 

2. 
Notes that most of the contract value noted in
paragraph 1 is in relation to the value of funds distributed
through the Family Fund system, previously authorised in the
original Gateway 2, and that Family Fund Trading Ltd retain only
the system portal and administrative fees, which during the
two-year extension period are forecast to total
£30,000.
