GW2 Contact Award Approval for
the construction of the council’s second children’s
home

Decision

That the Strategic Director of
Children and Adult Services;
1. 
Formalise the prior approval granted on 19 August
2024 for the award for the main works contract for the
council’s second children’s home to T&B Contractors
Limited for a contract sum of £1,262,131 for an estimated
period of 26 weeks, commencing from November 2024. 
2. 
Formalise the prior approval granted on 19 August
2024 to reserve 20% of the main works contract sum of
£252,427 as a contingency sum and that this is released as
necessary with the approval of the Director of Children’s
Services.
