Purpose

To extend the current contracts
with Ductclean (UK) Ltd & Franklyn Shaw Associates
Ltd.

Decision

That the Strategic Director of
Resources;
 

1. 
Approves the variation of the Asbestos Removal Works
contract with Ductclean (UK) Ltd (Contract A) to extend the term of
Contract A by a period of 12 months from 15 December 2024 to 14
December 2025 at an estimated sum of £339k making a total
revised estimated sum of £2.671m.

2. 
Approves the variation of the Asbestos Removal Works
contract with Franklyn Shaw Associates Ltd (Contract B) to extend
the term of Contract B by a period of 12 months from 15 December
2024 to 14 December 2025 at an estimated sum of £704k making
a total revised estimated sum of £3.639m.

3. 
Notes that Ductclean (UK) Ltd and Franklyn Shaw
Associates Ltd will act as backup contractors to each other on each
of their respective tendered rates, as required.
