Decision

The Strategic Director
of Housing:
 
 
i. 
Approves the admission onto the DPS for temporary accommodation of
the following suppliers, which have met and passed the exclusion
and selection criteria for the DPS:
a) 
Triple 7 Management Ltd
b) 
MX Estates Ltd
c) 
J&M Oasis Ltd
d) 
Uplift Property Ltd
 
 
ii. 
Notes that Cabinet agreed the establishment of a Dynamic Purchasing
System (DPS) for temporary accommodation (TA) for six years
commencing 27 February 2025 to manage the letting of TA contracts
at a cost of £45m. However, due to the implementation of the
new Procurement Act 2023, all DPS must cease their use by 23
February 2029.
 
 
iii. 
Notes that upon the establishment of the DPS, the council will
complete the pending applications from TA suppliers who wish to
join the DPS as well as any future applications and move to using
the DPS as the sole method to procure TA.
 
 
iv. 
Notes that there is no value
associated with approving suppliers to be put on to the DPA and
that the value of the contracts awarded to suppliers able to
provide the required accommodation will be agreed at the
time.
