Decision

That the Strategic Director of
Housing;
 

1. 
Approves the award of Contract A –Fire
Protection Contract to PRB Estates Ltd for the estimated sum of
£2m per annum for a period of three years from 1 November
2023 with the option to extend (at the council’s discretion)
by a further one year making a total estimated contract value of
£8m.

 

2. 
Approves the award of Contract B –Fire
Protection Contract to Ductclean (UK)
Ltd trading as DCUK FM for the estimated sum of £2m per annum
for a period of three years from 1 November 2023 with the option to
extend (at the council’s discretion) by a further one year
making a total estimated contract value of £8m.
 

3. 
Notes that both PRB Estates Ltd and Ductclean (UK) Ltd trading as DCUK FM will operate
as a backup contractor to each contract area in the event of the
failure to deliver the service using their own tendered rates
should this be required.
