That the Cabinet
Member for Leisure, Parks, Streets and Clean Air (“Cabinet
Member”):
1.
Considered the 79
representations received as summarised in Table One of the report,
during the statutory consultation for ‘TMO2223-024 CPZ T extension’ relating to the proposal
to introduce a new parking zone in the Trafalgar Road area, which
includes permit parking bays and double yellow lines.
2.
Noted that an online petition was received objecting
to the proposal, this was signed by 113 signatories at the close of
the consultation on 3 January 2023.

Considered and determined each objection and comment
as per the table prepared by officers in Appendix 1 of the report and noted the
comments made online in Appendix of the report.

Instructs officers to write to each person who made
representations to inform them of the Council’s
decision.
5.
Instructs officers to make the necessary Traffic
Management Order(s) (TMO) to proceed with the proposal to implement
a new Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) operating from Monday to Friday
from 8.00 am to 6.30 pm and to reinstate permit parking across the
existing CPZ.
6.
Noted the scheme supports the
Council’s Streets for People aspirations.
