Purpose

Approval of procurement strategy for Revenues
and Benefits and Housing using Crown Commercial Services.

Decision

That:
 
1. 
The procurement strategy for the direct award of the
Revenues and Benefits system contract using the Crown Commercial
Services (CCS) Vertical Application Solutions framework (RM6259)
– Lot 1, for a period of five years from 1 July 2025 at an
estimated cost of £3.4m be approved by the Cabinet Member for
Equalities, Democracy and Finance.
 
2. 
The procurement strategy for the direct award of the
core Housing system contract using the Crown Commercial Services
(CCS) Vertical Application Solutions framework (RM6259) – Lot
3, for a period of five years from 1 July 2025 at an estimated cost
of £2.2m be approved by the Cabinet Member for Equalities,
Democracy and Finance.
 
3. 
The contract award decision for both the Revenue
& Benefits and Housing system contracts to the Strategic
Director of Resources for the reasons noted in paragraph 35 be
delegated by the Cabinet Member for Equalities, Democracy and
Finance.
