To approve the recommendations

Decision
The cabinet member approved the
following:
1.
That consideration be given to the 31 responses
received as summarised in Appendix A, during the informal
consultation for the Aylesbury Estate Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ)
relating to the proposal to implement permit parking controls on
the following roads: Albany Road, Bradenham Close, Cherill Street,
Harcourt Street, Westmoreland Road and Boundary Lane.
2.
Agree the implementation of the Aylesbury Estate
Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) subject to the outcome of the
statutory consultation on the following roads: Albany Road,
Bradenham Close, Cherill Street, Harcourt Street, Westmoreland Road
and Boundary Lane.
3.
That the operational hours of the proposed CPZ will
be Monday-Sunday, 8.00am to 6.30pm, as supported by the majority of
responses to the consultation.
4.
That a further report will be brought to the cabinet
member should there be any valid statutory objections to the
traffic order required to implement the proposed CPZ.
5.
That households will be offered a maximum of 1
permit per household to better manage the distribution of parking
bays in the zone.
6.
That approval be given for the position and type of
parking bays and restrictions for the proposed CPZ as shown in the
outline design save for any amendments which may be required at the
implementation stage, which may be determined by officers (Appendix
B).
7.
To note that in addition to the controlled parking
zone proposed, officers will assess and propose double yellow line
waiting restrictions across the entire consulted area where
required for safety and access reasons be noted.
