Decision
That:
1.
The objections received during statutory
consultation and the officer response
relating to the proposed Traffic Management Orders
(“TMOs”) for the installation of e-scooter and e-bike
parking bays at Balchier Road, Barry
Road, Camberwell Grove, Grove Lane, Holly Grove and St James’
Road and set out in Appendix 1 be considered and determined by the
Cabinet Member for Clean Air, Streets and Waste.
2.
Officers proceed with the implementation of the
e-scooter and e-bike parking bays at Barry Road, Balchier Road, Camberwell Grove, Grove Lane and St
James’ Road and to make the necessary permanent TMOs in
accordance with sections 6, 45, 49 and 124 of the 1984 Act and the
Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales)
Regulations 1996 (“1996 Regulations”) as instructed by
the Cabinet Member for Clean Air, Streets and Waste.
3.
Officers write to each person who made
representations to inform them of the Council’s decision as
instructed by the Cabinet Member or Clean Air, Streets and
Waste.
4.
TMOs be made without a public inquiry pursuant to
regulation 9 of the 1996 Regulations by officers authorised by the
Cabinet Member for Clean Air, Streets and Waste.
