Decision

That
the Cabinet Member for Council Homes:
 
1. 
Approves the payment
of Getting Involved Grants (GIG) to Sheltered Housing Units (SHUs),
Tenant Management Organisations (TMOs), Tenants and Residents
associations (TRAs), and constituted community groups for a total
expenditure of £24,000 as set out in appendix 1of the
report.
2. 
Approves the payment
of Getting Involved Grants (GIG) to Strategies and Communities for
Housing contribution to the councils 
Warm Spaces programme of £50,000.
3. 
Approves a total of
£48,000 for tenant and homeowner conferences from Resident
Participation Fund reserves.
4. 
Approves a small grant
programme to facilitate residents hosting winter celebrations to
the value of £40,000, from Resident Participation Fund
reserves.
