Purpose

To consider representations received in
response to the statutory consultation

Decision

1. 
That representations
received in response to the statutory consultation be considered
relating to the proposal to relocate parking bays between
Redriff Road and Plough Way to Cope
Street and Rotherhithe Old Road.  The
representations are summarised in Table
One.
 
2. 
That each objection
and comment be considered and determined as per the table prepared
by officers in Appendix A.
 
3. 
That officers be instructed to write to each person/organisation
who made representations to inform them of the council’s
decision.
 
4. 
That officers be instructed to make the necessary Traffic
Management Order (“TMO”) in accordance with sections 6
and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“1984
Act”) and the Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure)
(England and Wales) Regulations 1996 (“1996
Regulations”).
 
5. 
That officers be instructed to proceed with relocation of the
parking bays between Redriff Road and
Plough Way to Cope Street and Rotherhithe Old Road as per the
Individual Decision Making report agreed on 21 July 2024.
