Decision

That the Cabinet
Member for Clean Air, Streets and Waste:
 

1. 
Considered the 44
responses received as summarised in Appendix A of the report,
during the informal review consultation for the Trafalgar
‘T’ Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ).

 

2. 
Approves the amendment of Meeting House Lane,
between the junctions with Goldsmith Road and Asylum Road, so that
‘QR’ zone and ‘T’ zone permit holders are
permitted to park there during the prescribed hours of the
‘T’ zone. (subject to the outcome of the statutory consultation due
to take place November 2025).
 

3. 
Approves the reassignment of Marmont Road, between
the junctions with Goldsmith Road and Peckham High Steet, from the
‘B’ zone to the ‘T’ zone, and that
residents of Marmont Road (numbers 1 to 74)  who are currently
‘B’ zone permit holders can change their
‘B’ zone permits for ‘T’ zone permits free
of charge. (subject to the outcome of the statutory consultation due
to take place November 2025).
 

4. 
Approves the reassignment of Goldsmith Road from the
‘B’ zone to the ‘T’ zone, and that
residents of Goldsmith Road can changed their ‘B’ zone
permits for ‘T’ zone permits free of charge.
 
5. 
Notes that the operational hours of zone
‘T’ will not be changed and will remain Monday to
Friday, 8am to 6.30pm.
 
6. 
Notes that a further report will be brought to the
Cabinet Member should there be any valid statutory objections to
the traffic order required to implement the proposed
CPZ. 
 
7. 
Notes that requests for complementary measures will
be passed to the appropriate officers so that these can be
considered as per the relevant processes and procedures.
