recommendations below:
1.
Considered single representation received as summarised in
Table One, during the statutory consultation for ‘TMO2526-026
Druid St active travel improvements’ relating to the
implementation of a proposed new
footway, accessibility improvements and changes to existing cycling
infrastructure in Druid Street.
2.
Considered and determines the objection and comment
as per the table prepared by officers in Appendix 1 and notes the
comments summarised in Table Three.
3.
Instructed officers to make the existing Traffic
Management Order(s) (TMO) to proceed with the proposal to implement
the parking and traffic restrictions for the active travel
improvements on Druid Street.
4.
Instructed officers to write to each person who made
representations to inform them of the Council’s
decision.
5.
Notes that the remainder of the cycle route, from
Tanner Street to Willow Walk, will be pursued separately to
progress to statutory consultation when funding is secured from
TfL. This report relates only to those improvements proposed as
part of the TMO2526-026 Druid St active travel improvements’
which are funding via a separate budget.
