Decision
1.
That a variation to the Land
Swap Agreement dated 11 August 2020 between the council, London
Underground Limited, TTL Southwark Properties Limited, Transport
Trading Limited and TTL Properties Limited be entered into.
2.
That a Development Sales
Agreement for the purchase of 44 affordable homes and community
space at Joan
Street, SE1 under a 150 year lease
be entered into with Places for London Limited (the Seller) and
Platinum Southwark Limited (the Developer).
3.
That a licence to occupy the
council’s land for the Developer’s site set up, welfare
facilities, the delivery of landscaping works and crane oversailing
associated with planning permission 24/AP/2770 be included within
the Development Sales Agreement.
4.
That the council enters into a
Deed of Covenant with London Underground Limited and Places for
London Limited that commits the council not to build on the land
set out in in Appendix 2 for the lifetime of the affordable housing
building to be delivered by planning permission 24/AP/2770 and
acquired by the council under the Development Sales Agreement as
proposed by recommendation 2 of the report.
